Notes
The Cloak of Bloody Surprises is an incredibly rare ability with a strong offensive focus. Its on-ability +25 ATT boost is only really rivaled by the Ceremonial Merlot in size, and the cloak gives said damage while remaining concealed. This cloak costs 10 MP more, lasts 1s less, and has a longer downtime than the T6 Cloak of Ghostly Concealment; though invisibility is clearly not this cloak’s main purpose. In addition, the 3s of Slowed, lack of any DEX boost, and long cooldown can make this cloak a bit less great than it appears - but only by a little.
This Cloak’s buff stacks additively with the Collector’s Monocle, for a total of +37 ATT. Regardless of this cloak’s flaws, these two items give the Rogue an endgame offensive presence they wouldn’t have otherwise.
History
Before Patch X.26.0.0 (May 2018), This item used to grant the user with the Damaging effect, which was unfortunately rendered useless in the vicinity of a Paladin, due to the Paladin’s Damaging buff lasting longer than that of the cloak.
