Placing this trinket into an appropriate slot found on Steamworks machines activates their overclock drastically increasing output. The increased speed causes a greater amount of wear on the parts of the machine, usage of this item is only authorized to higher ranking Kogbolds.

With a whopping +8 to ATT and DEX, this ring provides the highest unconditional DPS stat boost of any single ring in the game, surpassing even the Chrysalis of Eternity. However, this comes at the cost of a lack of HP along with a significant DEF penalty, making it less useful if one is unwilling to sacrifice survivability for offense.

Trivia: Before version [I do not know how to check the version], the Overclocking Amulet was in the Legendary forge tier, allowing players to easily farm and craft Legendary gear. It was also not soulbound during this version, making it the only (citation needed) tradable Legendary forge material item, making it worth high prices in trade.
