As the nameless monarch sat malcontent upon the throne, his ambitions and impiety became one, and with this came enlightenment. A legacy reduced to less than legend, utterly erased from the nescient minds of the land, with its only epitaph being the sorry remnant of his majesty’s dearest. After all, what good are kings in a realm of gods? |

Drops From | King Azamoth |
Notes
This item only drops from The Forgotten King if the “Hard Mode” of The Shatters has been activated. Defeating the buffed version of the boss, King Azamoth, will give all players a chance to obtain the Chrysalis of Eternity. This is, by far, the most common white bag drop from King Azamoth.
This is a remarkably powerful ring that serves as a direct upgrade of The Forgotten Crown, providing 10 more HP and 1 more ATT/DEX. With a whopping +14 to offensive stats, it offers both the second highest unconditional DPS boost out of any standalone ring alongside decent survivability. It is also currently the only obtainable item to have a 9% XP bonus.
Be careful when using this item. Being a drop from the rare “hard-mode” version of the already hardest dungeon in the game, it is extremely difficult to acquire, and may be irreplaceable if lost.
Currently, this item is tied with the Omnipotence Ring for the highest Feed Power of any obtainable equipment item in the game.
Trivia
This item is commonly referred to as “lean crown”, or just “lean”, due to it being a purple version of The Forgotten Crown.
History
This item used to be a guaranteed drop for one player. This was changed to discourage players from kicking or exclusing others from the dungeon, and the overall drop rate was significantly increased to compensate.
