Upon first glance, this staff appears to be blatantly overpowered. It shoots 4 fireballs in a cone which inflict enormous damage and pierce through targets. It is similar to the EP but is, for the most part, more powerful, due to being usable at a long range, and the true range being a lot longer too.
However, the catch is that all the shots fire backwards, meaning you have to aim behind you in order to fire at enemies. This creates a dilemma where you have to choose between aiming your ability or blasting enemies with the staff. Of course you could just use it like a regular EP but its advantage is not having to sit on things directly. However, it is undoubtedly powerful, boasting the highest DPS of any staff if all the shots hit.
Mystic can use this staff quite well given that most orbs can curse for quite a distance and plus if you don’t need stasis it makes self buffing quite easy with tier 5-6/st/conflict. For example, use the orb right behind you, curse the enemies, self buff depending on your orb and spray enemies at short range.
Necro can use this staff situationally. The best place to use it is definitely when what you are targeting for soulbound is not in the area with the most enemies. For example if you want to hit a boss but there is a mob behind you, heal off the mob and shoot forward at the boss.
