This is a Mistake Gear item.

Despite being an April Fools weapon, this Staff outdamages the Staff of the Cosmic Whole and technically outranges it by 1.45 tiles. However, its incredibly high amplitude, frequency, and arc gap mean that the shots converge only at a range of about 3 tiles before diverging. Therefore, it is impossible to hit both shots on enemies farther than that distance, so the staff should indeed only be treated as a vanity item.

This item was added to the game in Patch X.31.5.0 (Apr 2019).

Before Exalt Version (Aug 2021), this item was soulbound.

This weapon’s shots are the old sprites of enemies from Lost Halls, a dungeon designed by Kiddforce. Most of the sprites were infamous for being over-shaded.

The description is a reference to the Lost Halls 2.0, which was seen as a better version of the original Lost Halls.
