An interesting star that grants Red Down Arrow Slowed and Red Sword Berserk instead of Green Up Arrow Speedy, like most other stars. While this makes the star less than useless for rushing, it shines during combat, as the Berserk buff works wonders with the Ninja’s already impressive DPS. Despite initially seeming like a negative thing, the slow can actually work in the Ninja’s favor - being able to slow yourself on command can be a godsend in fights where precise dodging is required, such as during bullet-hellish bosses like the Marble Colossus, Killer Bee Queen, and (coincidentally) the Crystal Entity. However, keep in mind that the star’s MP drain is twice as much as tiered stars, making sustaining its ability for a long time more difficult.

This item also has its uses for direct attack. Dealing the highest damage of any star, it can be used for quick bursts of damage. However, note that it suffers from slightly lower range and a slower projectile speed than most other tiered stars.

Another thing to note is that it is possible to permanently apply the Berserk buff while not being Slowed. This can be done by having a high enough Magic Heal level on your pet as well as using an item that removes negative status effects, such as the Skull of Endless Torment and Holy Water. Becoming purified after activating the star will also halve the MP drain from 20mp/s to 10mp/s, on par with the rest of the stars in the game. This is likely a glitch.
