This bow possesses truly extraordinary DPS at the cost of a slightly shorter range than most bows. In spite of this, it only fires 1 shot, keeping its true range at 6.23, which is higher than most of the other useful bows - except for the Doom Bow, Leaf Bow and the Thousand Shot - allowing it to do more consistent damage from a safer distance.
This bow outdamages the Coral Bow from 26 defense onward, making it arguably the best bow when dealing with bosses that have average defense, but cannot be approached easily, such as the Son of Arachna.
This bow has superior DPS than the Doom Bow up to 63 defense. This means the Void Bow can be used as a main bow, with the Doom Bow being a swapout for high defense enemies, like in Shatters and Lost Halls.
