This bow possesses truly extraordinary DPS at the cost of having the same range as tiered daggers. In spite of this, it only fires 1 shot, keeping its true range at 5.6 tiles, which is higher than tiered bows and just under Coral Bow, allowing it to do more consistent damage from a safer distance.
Since being buffed in Build X.26, it now outdamages all bows except for the Nectar Crossfire below ~5 defense, and the Doom Bow above ~155 defense. However, the main tradeoffs are that it has lower range than most other bows, and its status as a rare drop from the endgame Void Entity. In spite of the disadvantages, the Void can be used as an effective main bow where the user is comfortable with the shorter range.
