Holy Water is useful in dungeons like the Wine Cellar, i.e. dungeons with lots of enemies that inflict debuffs like confused and sick.
One common use by rushers is to use Holy Water to clear a drunk status effect from an otherwise beneficial item, like Saint Paddy’s Brew which gives +20 ATT and +20 DEX, or a Ghost Pirate Rum which grants invisibility. This way, the player still receives the positive status effect, but doesn’t have to deal with the drunk effect. This tactic is especially powerful when soloing The Forgotten Sentinel, because most players need DPS consumables to efficiently clear all Obelisks/Titanums, and it is very important to be able to see all projectiles unhindered by drunk.
