Early prototype versions of the KI470 Laser pointing device came with no inbuilt limiter on their power output. First batch testing resulted in many schematics cut clean in half, as well as multiple layers of steel wall.

Notes:
The Laser Pointer sacrifices some damage and about 2.1 tiles of range compared to most wands in exchange for a heightened fire rate and armor piercing shots, as well as a secondary wave attack that adds additional damage and can pierce targets in place of the main attack. This makes it an excellent damage dealer against targets with high DEF or just those that the player can get close to.

The Laser Pointer massively outdamages the armor-piercing Crystal Wand, and will always outdamage the T14 Wand of Retribution and UT Wand of the Fallen. The Dusky Catalyst outdamages it at low DEF while Lumiaire completely outdamages it up to very high DEF; however, the Laser Pointer’s fast shots and straight firing pattern make it considerably easier to use than the latter two.
