The Wand of Recompense is a very viable wand because its shots can hit multiple enemies and it has decent damage, despite not having the best damage per second out of any wand at any Defense level, compared to the Wand of the Fallen, the Crystal Wand and to an extent the Conducting Wand. It is the second-strongest multi-hit wand, behind the much harder to obtain T13 Wand of Evocation.
For example, even though a Crystal Wand could do more damage per shot at Oryx or at a Cube God, it is a lot easier to get your damage in with the Wand of Recompense because minions can easily block the Crystal Wand’s shots.
It is also an ideal wand for clearing or rushing dungeons - you will be killing many minions at a time!
During the April Fools update of 2019, the name, description and sprite changed to Wand of Redundance.
|A golden wand, forged with golden gold.|
|The Realm Eye says:|
Certainly, the Wand of Recompense has quite the tale to tell.
It is a holy relic that is crafted from the golden halos of angels slain in battle. In turn, it is a horrific weapon that judges the wicked-hearted before incinerating them.
The jewel at its head is thought to be made from the spirit of the angel that constitutes the wand iself, so to some extent it may be alive and cognizant.
