Notes
The Spirit Dagger has a higher damage per second average compared to the Dagger of Foul Malevolence, but it has slightly lower range, less reliable damage, and minor amplitude. For this reason it should be seen as a sidegrade to the dagger–not necessarily better or worse.
In most cases, a situation where one would use a Dagger of Foul Malevolence is also a situation where one would use a Spirit Dagger. Some examples of use for this dagger would be for shooting at enemies or bosses that move and are hard to hit with a straight bullet, like Septavius in his shotgun phase, or Dr. Terrible when he’s vulnerable.
