Although this staff has a higher base damage than the Staff of the Cosmic Whole, it has a -20% rate of fire which makes the overall DPS less than that of the Staff of Astral Knowledge. It seems to be useless since the range of this staff is 7.2, However it deals more damage to enemies that have more than 55 DEF compared to Staff of the Cosmic Whole.
