Notes
This is a very interesting untiered item. What it offers over the Bloodsucker is a better MP cost and the ability to remove status effects. This allows the Necro to function as a bit of a pre-nerf Puri priest and gives them quite a lot of support utility, since the ability to purify debuffs on oneself and the group is both very rare and quite powerful. However, it has the second smallest area of effect of any skull, making it harder to hit the required number of enemies to activate the purification effect. Additionally, it heals less than the Bloodsucker, does less damage, and ignores less defense.

This item used to be one of the rarest UTs in the game due to it being an incredibly rare drop from an unpopular dungeon. Its drop rate has since been substantially increased, in addition to being forgeable.

History
Before Patch X.31.8.0 (July 2019), this item’s description was “This skull glows with the stolen life force of Shaitan.” Patch X.31.8.0 (July 2019) also increased this item’s HP bonus from 40 to 50, increased the radius from 1.75 to 2.75, decreased the base damage from 280 to 120, decreased the heal from 90 to 80, decreased the defense ignored from 60 to 20, and gave it the ability to remove status effects from yourself and allies, making this item more similar to a Tome of Purification rather than a damage-dealing skull.

Before Exalt Version 1.5.0.0 (May 2021), this item had an XP Bonus of 8%.
