This aptly named staff is the manifestation of Chancellor Dammah’s assertions of grandeur. Although he seldom uses it for actual combat purposes, it is no less potent as a legitimate weapon.

Unlike other staves with higher shot count than a tiered variant, Superior has no decrease in fire-rate or quirk to aiming. The primary drawback comes in its abysmal true range at 1.69 tiles - shorter then that of a sword.

However, in terms of DPS, this staff completely outclasses a T12 staff by up to 52%, and is only overtaken by a T13/T14 at 101/86 defense respectively. The Tideturner Trident starts outperforming Superior at 60 defense, while the Staff of Unholy Sacrifice will always outdamage better than this staff.

While it’s range is a serious drawback, it’s damage is highly formidable.
