Notes
This wand’s two shots and massive rate of fire make it superior to all other wands in terms of damage output, capable of far outstripping all other wands up to high DEF values while retaining the range of a tiered wand. However, the catch is that its shots move at an incredibly slow speed, nearly a quarter of a tiered wand’s projectile speed. Combined with its helical firing pattern, this can make landing shots very difficult, particularly whenever the user and/or the target are moving. However, if players are able to consistently hit their target, the Lumiaire becomes a clear-cut winner over all other damage options due to its insane DPS.
It is important to note that the wand has two firing patterns, each of which are useful against different enemies. To swap firing patterns, one must fire an odd number of shots then swap back to the Lumiaire; for instance, shooting a single shot with a tiered wand then swapping back would be sufficient. This makes the shot pattern converge at around 3.5 and 9 tiles instead of the middle of the range. To switch back, simply swap off of Lumiaire, fire an odd number of shots again, and swap back.
This wand also doesn’t pierce, but its spray of shots and superb rate of fire still make it a somewhat viable choice for clearing hordes of monsters.
