Notes
Though identical in stats to the Oryxmas Ornament: Exposed, this accesory’s proc is able to grant an immense, albeit short-ranged DPS boost to any class in the form of Damaging - a much more effective buff in most scenarios compared to the relatively weaker Exposed, on top of damaging nearby enemies.
Warriors with tiered Helms, Mystics with the Soul of the Bearer, Huntresses with the Lifebringing Lotus, Ninjas with the Star of Enlightenment, and Bards with the Chief’s War Horn can achieve an extremely powerful combination of Berserk and Damaging on their own using this item, making it a supreme offensive choice for small-group or solo situations, where Paladins are less common.
However, its middling stats and wasted proc in larger groups or in situations where you or the boss need to move around a lot (such as endgame fights like the Void Entity or Beisa himself/Oryx 3), this ring can be considered fairly useless and other general-purpose rings such as the Omnipotence Ring, Forgotten Crown, or Exalted God’s Horn should be considered instead.
The summoned banner has the same sprite as the item itself.
History
Before Exalt Version 1.5.0.0 (May 2021), this item had a Damaging duration and cooldown of 1 second.
Trivia
The name may be a derived from two banner items from Team Fortress 2, those being the Battalion’s Backup and the Buff Banner. Additionally, the latter shares the characteristic of granting teammates increased damage.
