Notes
A ring that grants sublime HP and ATT boosts (equivalent to the T5 rings of each stat), while granting further bonuses to ATT if the user fires while invisible. Because of the proc’s short cooldown and long duration, it effectively has 100% uptime with a consistent source of invisibility, so long as the user is shooting while invisible. With the proc active, the ATT bonus skyrockets to a total of +20, giving the user significantly boosted firepower that surpasses that of any other standalone ring.

While its raw stats are fairly impressive and it serves well as a general-purpose ring on any class to boost survivability and damage output (similar to the Forgotten Crown), it’s highly recommended to use this item in conjunction with items that grant invisibility, to avoid wasting the proc. While Rogues make for an obvious choice due to their cloaks, Tricksters with the Prism of Shattered Light and Leather classes using the Turncoat Cape can also make use of it.

Note that the ATT boost from this item does not directly stack with the boost of the Cloak of Bloody Surprises. Instead, if you first activate the cloak’s ATT boost and then start activating the monocle’s ATT boost while the cloak’s boost is still active, the monocle’s ATT boost will maintain the value of the cloak’s ATT boost (since the cloak’s boost is larger than the monocle’s boost) as long as it is continuously applied, essentially extending the lifetime of the Bloody Cloak’s ATT boost well beyond the slow duration and even potentially allowing for a 100% uptime. This allows a rogue to easily and consistently surpass 80 ATT before adding in armors and exaltations.

History
When first released, the ATT boost originally had a cooldown of 1.4 seconds.
