Notes
Upon first glance, this staff appears to be blatantly overpowered. It shoots 4 fireballs in a cone which inflict enormous damage and pierce through targets. It is similar to the EP but is, for the most part, more powerful, due to being usable at a long range, and the true range being a lot longer too.

Unholy Sacrifice's shot pattern

However, the catch is that all the shots fire backwards, meaning you have to aim behind you in order to fire at enemies. This creates a dilemma where you have to choose between aiming your ability or blasting enemies with the staff. Of course, you could just use it like an Extreme Prejudice, but it has much less overall damage.

Despite its drawback, it is still undoubtedly powerful, boasting extraordinarily high DPS and crowd-control abilities. Hitting all its shots will give the user damage output that far surpasses that of just about every other staff in the game - the only staff that can reasonably surpass its damage is a point-blank Staff of Extreme Prejudice, and even then the Staff of Unholy Sacrifice will surpass it at mid-to-high DEF.

Wizard will have the hardest time using this staff effectively. Most Spells are highly reliant on precise aim and timing, and so Wizards must choose between staff damage and Spell damage. Being unable to use both is highly undesirable for their DPS. There are, however, a few rare occasions where the backwards firing may prove beneficial. Some spells such as the Genesis Spell and Sporous Spray Spell spawn damaging objects that are active for several seconds—if you are kiting groups of enemies, it is possible to place these spells ahead of you and lead enemies onto them while firing at them backwards with the staff. For general use, however, it can be hard to effectively use this staff with Wizard Spells, and Wizards will find much better value in other staves.

The Mystic can use this staff quite well, espsecially in situations where you do not need to inflict stasis. A Soul Of The Bearer or optionally an Orb Of Conflict can be useful due to their buffs.

A Necromancer can be an effective user of this staff with the right equipment. Since the radius of a skull is small, a Necromancer must get much too close for a robe class’ comfort if they want to continue hitting enemies while also healing (and/or slowing with the Skullish Remains Of Esben). However, with the Memento Mori, self-buffing is most of the time even more powerful than the Mystic’s orbs, due to the Necromancer’s higher damage output. In addition, while rushing, a good Necromancer can heal from the enemies they bypass while absolutely annihilating the enemies or walls in their path.
