The Wand of Recompense is a very viable wand because it pierces enemies, and has decent damage, although it does not have the best damage per second out of any wand, at any Defense level compared to the Wand of the Fallen, Crystal Wand and to an extent the Conducting Wand it is the strongest Piercing wand.
For example even though a Crystal Wand would do more damage at Oryx or a Cube God, Recomp is a lot easier to get your damage in with because minions can easily block the former’s shots.
This is also the ideal wand for clearing or rushing dungeons - you will be killing many minions at a time!
