Reanimated Hermit God (Rev. 4)

The Reanimated Hermit God is an event boss that is a Halloween-themed reskin of the Hermit God and replaces it during Halloween events since 2019. It was added in patch X.32.1.0.

Behavior

Phase 1

8 Tentacles will circle the pool of deep water that the Reanimated Hermit God is hidden in, the tentacles will chase players and fire bullets in a circular pattern if players get too close to them. Reanimated Hermit Minions will be present chasing players with paralyzing attacks.

Phase 2

Once all 8 Tentacles are killed, the Reanimated Hermit God will rise from his pool, become vulnerable and attack players with a stream of blinding ink blobs. 8 Whirlpools will be spawned and will circle the Reanimated Hermit God, firing radial shots. More Reanimated Hermit Minions will be spawned on the shore as well.

Phase 3

The Reanimated Hermit God will shoot Octoblast bullets a couple of times along the cardinal and intermediate directions. This is followed by the Reanimated Hermit God’s eyes turning red and the boss firing several waves of Yellow Deep Sea Blasts at the nearest player before launching several omnidirectional waves of orange Deep Sea Blasts. Then the Reanimated Hermit God will sink into the water and phase 1 will repeat. Whirlpools will disappear and Tentacles will be respawned at the start of this phase .
