Notes
Against single targets at very low defense, this bow is outperformed by Coral Bow. Coral Bow will however outperform Bow of Covert Havens at a more practical range of 4–6.3 until it’s beaten by two shots (large middle shot and one small side shot) of Bow of Covert Havens at roughly 60 DEF. T12 may still prove more versatile however. Thousand Shot has a strong clearing potential as well, outdamaging Covert Havens’ two shots till around very high 70 DEF. If one wants to cover a larger area or comes in close range often however, Covert Havens might be preferred. The endgame Warmonger will practically always outperform T12 in clearing.

Doom Bow and Leaf Bow both offer higher single target damage with vastly improved true range, however one might still choose Covert Havens for practicality over Doom Bow and for clearing over Leaf Bow. The endgame Bow of the Void will always be better at single target than Covert Havens and Leaf Bow unless one is out of range.

History
Before Patch 27.7.X10.3 (Feb 2017), this item dealt 50-70 damage.

Before Exalt Version 2.3.0.0 (Mar 2022), this weapon had 3 identical projectiles with arc gap of 8° (true range was 3.56) and damage of 50-75. It also had a 5% XP bonus and the following sprite:

Trivia
Before the patch in February 2017, you would seldom find people using this bow. Its wide spread made it less practical relative to the Coral Bow, which almost matched its DPS with the implication that all shots hit. Owing to this, most Archers/Huntresses would use the Coral Bow instead if they possessed one.

However, after said patch, it became somewhat more usable due to the range where all 3 shots hit, increasing from a mere 2.51 to a decent 3.56. Regardless, many still view the Coral Bow, the Doom Bow, the coveted Bow of the Void and several other untiered options as superior.

When this weapon was reworked in March 2022, it became an even more decent option, now usable against targets with defense and being able to compete especially with Coral Bow.

The Realm Eye says:
I have just the knowledge you seek on the Bow of Covert Havens.
It shines brilliantly in the light, as if forged with extremely flexible mythsteel and has pure diamondwire as a bowstring. The latter is also considered one of the strongest materials ever formed.
They are the weapons of choice for guardian seraphs defending the portal to their realm. While even I cannot peer into what secrets they protect, countless unholy forces have tried and failed.
