The Treasure Hunter Archer Set is the 29th ST set to be released.
In addition to the stat bonuses it provides, this set decreases DEX by 10 and provides Healing upon taking 20 damage, and the quiver fires a total of 9 shots in 3 lines fired like a tiered bow would shoot, Paralyzing and Slowing enemies hit by these shots. The bow shoots 2 shots in a straight line, with minor amplitude, and a slightly greater range than a tiered bow.
An archer with WC tops and a Ring of the Pyramid would have 820 HP, 272 MP, 79 ATT, 46 DEF, 50 SPD, 61 DEX, 40 VIT, 50 WIS, making for a DPS of 2647-1425 (0-60 DEF) assuming all shots land. Assuming you’re taking any amount of damage, functioning under the -10 DEX penalty would give this set a DPS of 2246-2001. While this is a decrease for the majority of enemies due to their low DEF, keep in mind that this bow’s true range is over twice as great as that of a tiered bow, meaning that tiered bows either shoot from twice as close, or deal about one third of this bow’s damage, making this set exceptionally good for enemies too dangerous to get close to, as long as you’re comfortable dealing with the very low fire rate. Factoring in the 5 seconds of Healing every 20 seconds and the extra 85 MP, this set is a clear upgrade on tiered equipment against anyone but the least dangerous or very fast enemies.
