Notes
Is the highest tiered wand available to obtain through trading.

The Wand of Recompense is a very viable wand because its shots can hit multiple enemies and it has decent damage, despite not having the best damage per second out of any wand at any Defense level, compared to the Wand of the Fallen, the Crystal Wand and to an extent the Conducting Wand. It is the third-strongest tiered wand, behind the much harder to obtain T13 Wand of Evocation and T14 Wand of Retribution.

For example, even though a Crystal Wand could do more damage per shot at Oryx or at a Cube God, it is a lot easier to get your damage in with the Wand of Recompense because minions can easily block the Crystal Wand’s shots.

It is also an ideal wand for clearing or rushing dungeons - you will be killing many minions at a time!

History
Added as part of a new highest tier of items when the Wine Cellar was introduced to the game in Build 115 (May 2011).

Was officially supplanted at the top of its tier by the Wand of Evocation upon release of the Lost Halls in Patch X.16.0 (Aug 2017).

Before Exalt Version 1.1.0.0 (Sep 2020), this item had a damage of 95-140.

April Fools Version

During the April Fools update of 2019, the name, description and sprite changed to Wand of Redundance. The same changes were made for the 2020 April Fools Event:

Wand of Redundance

Wand of Redundance Blue Magic A golden wand, forged with golden gold.

The Realm Eye says:
Certainly, the Wand of Recompense has quite the tale to tell.
It is a holy relic that is crafted from the golden halos of angels slain in battle. In turn, it is a horrific weapon that judges the wicked-hearted before incinerating them.
The jewel at its head is thought to be made from the spirit of the angel that constitutes the wand iself, so to some extent it may be alive and cognizant.
