Notes
The Acidified Assassin Set is the 23rd ST set to be released, alongside the Crystal Kunoichi Set and Magmatic Mystic Set. It is the second ST set for the assassin after the Flesh Collector Set.
In addition to the stat bonuses this set provides, it decreases the range of the dagger to that of tiered swords (3.5 tiles) and its fire rate to 65%, while the poison deals all of its damage at once and also has a reactive proc that throws a poison at no MP cost at most every 6 seconds.
An assassin with WC tops and a Ring of the Pyramid would have 840 HP, 272 MP, 64 ATT, 46 DEF, 75 SPD, 79 DEX, 40 VIT, 63 WIS, making for a DPS of 2340-1839 (0-60 DEF). In comparison, the DPS of this set is 2890-2578, a rather hefty increase in damage output. This set also gives increased survivability in the form of 60 HP, 14 DEF and 35 VIT on top of what WC tops get you. While this may seem somewhat overpowered, these effects come at a price: 25 speed and 2 tiles of range, meaning things have to get more up close and personal for the assassin to deal damage. Additionally, while the reactive proc and instant damage is indeed beneficial, the poison deals slighly less damage overall, and with a 5 MP cost increase. In summation, this set transforms the fleet-footed assassin into something resembling a sword class, greatly increasing its power but changing its playstyle.
