Notes
The set confers additional stat bonuses when at least two of the items are worn together. Wearing the full set transforms the rogue player into a 16x16 Ghost of Skuld sprite and changes the weapon’s shot to appear larger when attacking.
In addition to the stat bonuses this set provides, the cloak fires 10 Paralyzing bullets upon use, similarly to Ghost of Skuld, while decreasing Invisible time to 2.5 seconds every 3.5 seconds, for a whopping 110 MP, as well as significantly decreasing dagger range while increasing rate of fire by 10%.
A rogue with WC tops and a Ring of the Pyramid would have 840 HP, 272 MP, 54 ATT, 46 DEF, 80 SPD, 85 DEX, 40 VIT, 50 WIS, making for a DPS of 2206-1674 (0-60 DEF). This set instead offers 3269-2621 DPS, a massive increase, decreases survivability with DEF and HP going down rather significantly, but adding 160 MP and 13 WIS for better ability use. Keeping yourself Invisible as often as possible is very mana costly, at 31 MP/s, requiring a lvl 82 MP heal pet for 10 consecutive uses, or a lvl 93 for continuous use. While this is not necessarily a problem, keep in mind that you would also be spending about 30% of your time uncloaked, compared to 15% with a Cloak of Nightmares. All in all, this set offers stellar DPS, at a significant cost to your survivability.
History
The (now legacy) Skuld 2 The ReGhostening Set was the fourth special themed set to be released. The items have previously been made available via the Alchemist, but were later added as drops from bosses in the Haunted Cemetery dungeon.
