Ice Cave Guide (Rev. 12)

Ice Cave (Suggested Level: 20)

Ice CaveIce CaveIce CaveIce CaveIce Cave

Unlike practically all other dungeons, the Ice Cave is not a race to the boss room, but rather, a dungeon where you must clear out the enemies in order to fight the boss. While this dungeon has a rating of five gravestones, it really isn’t that difficult once you get the hang of it. However, as with most things, you should be very alert in this dungeon. Going AFK is one of the quickest ways to die in this dungeon, as massive drags are very common, and it’s not hard to get caught in the middle of one. In this dungeon, DEF is actually not the most crucial stat to have maxed, as almost all shots are armor piercing. It helps to be maxed in dex, but overall, a character that has good equipment and a couple pots under his/her belt should do fine in this dungeon.

How

White Demon
White Demons (not the abyss counterpart) (drops at an extremely uncommon rate) and the Lord of the Lost Lands both drop the Ice Cave.

Why

T12 WeaponsT6 AbilitiesT13 Armors
This dungeon is the easiest place to find tops, such as t12 weapons, t13 armor, and t6 abilities, so it’s very similar to WC tops, except for the t5 rings. The lowest ranked drops in this dungeon come in cyan bags. In addition, Esben is guaranteed at least 1 mana potion for someone in this dungeon. The Ice Cave also provides 2 rare UTs, with a skull that is very powerful.
This dungeon can also drop dexterity, although dexterity isn’t guaranteed, as many people will be punching the chest and most likely get a cyan bag.

Class Advice

Knight

Clearing Enemies

Any of the enemies or minions can be stunned making it able to keep many of your friends/allies safe from most harm. Plenty of mana like a mana ring should do your knight good when stunning, but switch to another beneficial ring when the mana runs out, as the mana ring would render useless unless you wait it out.

At Boss

The knight has a great usage in the boss room, giving it the ability to save your friends from the blue tornados, and stunning the graves that paralyze you and spawn the blue tornados. Be careful of the blue shots Esben shoots at you; if you’re hit by one of them, you’ll be out for a bit of time.

Buffing Classes (Paladin/Warrior)

Clearing Enemies

Pallys and Warriors are perfect to buff up the DPS of your group, easily shredding groups and enemies with your buffs. Both combined, and chaos can be laid in this dungeon, especially with a piercing class that’s buffed.

At Boss

They are great to help people with clearing the blue tornados and these two classes already have a great DPS, but like the knight, be aware of the blue shots that Esben shoots as if there isn’t another pally/warrior with you and that pally/warrior is quieted, DPS can be quite lowered.

Mystic

Clearing Enemies

The Mystic here is superior to a group, but only with careful use, not for trolling. The Mystic with a good orb can easily curse the enemies and if they needed to, stasis a good amount of annoying minions like the Mini Yetis. The Curse effect works beautifully with the buffs of the pally/warrior, as the Curse increases the damage that the group deals, meaning an easier time.

At Boss

The Mystic can easily stasis the blue tornados that the graves spawn as well as curse any surrounding enemies to increase the damage on the mobs.

Archer/Huntress

Clearing Enemies

They’re suited by their names, with amazing weapons, they have one of the best piercing weapons in the game with high range for piercing, but the downfall is their low DPS with tiered bows, unless equipped with the untiered bows. Otherwise, with their arrows, buffs and a curse, they can actually deal a big hole in a huge swarm. They can also slow/paralyze enemies that they desire, to make it less annoying to aim.

At Boss

On the boss itself, tiered bows deal relative low damage, so switching to an untiered bow is actually not a bad idea. On the minions itself, like the enemies before the boss, they can paralyze the tornados and pierce through the crowd to easily hit the graves.

Note

These classes are most preferable to this dungeon, but any class is able to do this, and it all comes to the player’s desire.

Tips

  • After you destroy all of the blue tornado spawners , DO NOT go in on him because he shoots out 75 damage shots and they WILL hurt, trust me
  • If confused, do the LURDULDR
  • Don’t destroy the walls. These walls may save your life.
