The Moonlight Village is a unique but dangerous dungeon that is considered one of the hardest in the game. Despite its nature, most of its difficulty stems from an individual’s own skill and isn’t negated as much with group play as with the other dungeons, making soloing this dungeon very possible and even required for one of its routes. The dungeon drops from the Ethereal Shrine encounter in the realm.

How to find the Moonlight Village

The dungeon is a guaranteed drop from the Ethereal Shrine, an event that spawns once per realm.

The Moonlight Village Key () can also be purchased in the Nexus for 200 .

This optional encounter is unique in that once it spawns, several wisps around the Realm must be collected in order to activate it. The Etheral Shrine also uses the same lantern mechanic as the Moonlight Village itself, with the brightness of the lantern corresponding to the status effect that the Shrine is under. The Shrine can go from Wooden Shield Armored to Curse Curse to Gold Four Pointed Star Armor Broken, so staying on the lantern for longer makes it easier to take down the Shrine. Ranged classes can stay on the lantern while also damaging the Shrine from afar, but melee classes on their own will struggle with damaging and debuffing the Shrine due to their range. A recommended strategy is to have at least one player standing on the lantern in order to maintain the Armor Broken debuff on the Shrine while another player focuses on damaging the Shrine. Although most event bosses are typically defeated in groups, it is much more beneficial to consider situations with small groups or even solo runs due to the nature of the dungeon.
