Snake Pit (Rev. 6)

Entrances to the Snake Pit are dropped by Lesser Gods and Ogre Kings. It is the source of Snake Oil.

The Snake Pit is exactly what it sounds like. This dungeon is notable for having destructible walls, grates spawning green and purple snakes, and Treasure rooms. It is advisable not to enter alone, even as a level 20 character, due to the rapidly fired high damage projectiles and swarms of reappearing enemies.

The Treasure Room

When you find it you may be tempted to stand on the red button at the top of the room. Little do you know it’s a trap! Arrows begin firing from the walls and inflict Bleeding status and a red snake is released! The red snake will follow the player(s) slowly and will not move out of the top of the treasure room, until Phase 2. It fires 2 shots in a V pattern that only travel a short distance but inflict the debilitating Dazed status. It also shoots out bullets that do about 65 damage all around itself, but with very short range. The drops are the same as Stheno, the boss of the Snake Pit.

to the previous room. It becomes a easy fight.
Once he’s out of his room; to escape his shots, just walk left little by little. Then walk right little by little.
Repeat this and the red snake will be laughingly easy!
