The Heroic Abyss of Demons is a high-level boss room dungeon that is a more dangerous but more rewarding version of the Abyss of Demons boss fight. It is the best dungeon to farm for the Demon Blade. Aside from only featuring the boss room, a key difference between this dungeon and the normal Abyss of Demons is that pets are not allowed in the dungeon.
The Heroic Abyss of Demons Key is not available for purchase in Nexus.

The Demon Blade drops at a much higher rate in the Heroic Abyss of Demons than in the dungeon’s non-heroic counterpart.
Be prepared, and know what may come: You have the chance of stepping in lava, which could slow your movement and become vulnerable to other incoming enemies’ attacks as well as taking some serious damage from the lava.
Heroic Demons of the Abyss are DANGEROUS: Treat them with more caution than you treat their regular counterpart.
This dungeon is the second heroic dungeon to be released.
The Heroic Abyss of Demons first appeared on Testing as a full-length harder version of the Abyss of Demons, but due to negative feedback was changed to be a boss room fight only. Details of the scrapped full-length version of the dungeon are available here.
