Mad Lab (Rev. 30)

The Mad Lab is a hard and high level dungeon, enemies have got quite a lot of health and they are strong in groups.
This dungeon is made for high level and experienced players (Suggested Level: 20 and Defense Maxed), it is a hard dungeon and the bosses can deal Significant Damage.

Entrances to the Mad Lab are dropped from Flying Brains.

Notes:

  • This dungeon was added in Build 123.5.0.
  • The first boss drops the “Dr. Terrible’s Sorcerer Set“.
  • This dungeon does not have to be completed to earn the ‘Tunnel Rat’ fame bonus.
  • In the Mad Lab, there is an on-going myth that destroying the tables will either increase the Horrific Creations health or lower your chances of getting the “Dr. Terrible Sorcerer Set”.

There are many monsters that inflict stunned and confused. Before build 123.5.1, melee characters without a Crystal Sword could not complete the secret boss quest of the dungeon solo because 4.5 or more tiles of range are needed to destroy the last two Tesla coils.

Be careful when confused as you might step in an acid pool or into other mobs or other slow-moving, high-damaging projectiles.

It is a source of Potions of Defense and the UT Mad Scientist Sorcerer’s set, consisting of the Conducting Wand, Scepter of Fulmination, Robe of the Mad Scientist, and the Experimental Ring. The portal to the dungeon (dropped by the Flying Brain) drops at a very low rate and is available as a key in Nexus for 390 gold.





Enemies


Out of all these enemies, the Crusher Abomination takes the title for being the most dangerous in the dungeon, it shoots 3 wide bullets in a quarter-circle pattern and before it is damaged in anyway the bullets will be small in size and will not be as much damaging, however as you do more and more damage to it, it will increase in size and also increase the size of the bullets. In it’s final stage the 3 bullets are massive and highly damaging. Although a person with a decent dodging skill maybe able to dodge them, it is advised to be cautious. Circling the Crusher Abomination can be done if there is enough space, but most of the time you won’t find that much space in Mad Lab.





Dr. Terrible



Dr. Terrible is the first boss of the Mad Lab.

Horrific Creation



The Horrific Creation is the second boss of the Mad Lab. The barrier to its chamber is removed once all Tesla Coils in the dungeon have been destroyed.
